AMA How To Make It In The Garment District Masterclass
A Crash Course on navigating & producing in NYC's Garment District & Overseas. During this course you will learn about formulating/starting a brand, development in NYC, production overseas, marketing your work and go on a walking tour where you will be introduced to fabric stores, trimming shops, buttons/hardware shops & meet 2 vetted NYC manufactures utilized by Against Medical Advice. At the end of the class you are also provided with a rolodex of websites & NYC makers that can bring your ideas to life.
The class will consist of two hour classroom style lesson/presentation, one hour Q & A so we can try and address all inquiries, one hour walking tour & the last hour for lunch/questions. Lunch will be provided Courtesy of DIG INN or Upside Pizza.
Because we will be visiting live studios it is crucial the tour take place during the day.

To be on the safe side follow these rules:
Always turn inside out for wash & hang dry. Iron on medium/low, never over graphics. Dry Clean Mesh/Delicates or when you're really not sure. Wash items alone if you're worried about gentle fabrics or color bleed. Never machine dry Velour/Poly fabrics. Leather by leather care specialist ONLY!
